Telugu megastar Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as “God of Masses”, after giving the blockbuster Akhanda in 2022, returned with another high-octane action entertainer, Veera Simha Reddy.





The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni of “Krack”in his 7th directorial venture. It was released in cinemas on 12 Jan 2023 and went on to become a hit.



Veera Simha Reddy marks the first collaboration between Balakrishna and Malineni. It was officially announced in June 2021 with the working title “NBK107,” as it is the 107th picture of NBK’s over 40-year-long career.



The film was formally launched with a Pooja ceremony on November 13, 2021, and its shooting began in February 2022 in Sircilla.

On October 21, 2022, the title of NBK’s 107th film was officially announced as “Veera Simha Reddy” along with its first look poster at a grand event held at the iconic Konda Reddy Buruju in Kurnool.



The makers also shared the first look of the film on social media. Like the powerful title, which justifies the magnanimous mass image of the stars, the poster of the film also looks really powerful and impactful, presenting Balakrishna in a ferocious avatar.



In the poster, the Lungi-clad Balakrishna is set for a big hunt with a specially designed shard weapon, and the milestone reads, “Pulicherla 4 Kms.”

The film stars NBK in the titular role, and it marks his return on big screen after his huge commercial success, Akhanda, which was released in December 2021. It earned Rs 117 crore at the box office, making it the second highest-grossing Telugu film of 2021.



Actress Shruti Hassan is the leading lady in the film. She was last seen in the 2021 action drama film Laambam, alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu.



Apart from the lead star cast, the film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay, P. Ravi Shankar, Honey Rose, Lal and Chandrika Ravi in key roles.

Veera Simha Reddy is an action drama movie directed by Gopichand Malineni. The movie casts Balakrishna, Shruti Haasan, and Honey Rose in the main lead roles along with Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Lal, Chandrika Ravi, Ravishankar P, Murli Sharma, Naveen Chandra, Ajaygosh, B S Avinash, and many others have seen in supporting roles. Story


Veera Simha Reddy (Balakrishna) takes the sword against factional activities, revenge, and to maintain peace in the Pulicharla area of Kurnool. The feud with his sister Bhanumathi (Varalakshmi) and Pratap Reddy (Duniya Vijay) continues. Although Pratap Reddy tried to kill him. He forgives his brother-in-law and leaves him because of his love for his sister. But due to some reasons, Jai Simha Reddy (Balakrishna) lives away from his wife Meenakshi (Honey Rose) in Istanbul. Banumathi and Pratap Reddy target and attack Veera Simha Reddy who went to Istanbul to meet his family after many years.
